A: SNEHA is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious orgnaization of the Nepalese and friends of Nepal living in Hawaii.

Q: When was SNEHA started?

A: SNEHA was registered with the Hawaii State in 2007.

Q: Who are the members?

A: The 9-member executive committee is elected every year. Any adult, irrespective of nationality, race or religion can be a member. At the begining of 2008 there were about 70 members.

Q: Is there a membership fee involved?

A: Yes. One time membership fee of $100 for life member or $10 for annual membership.

Q: Do you have to be a Nepali to be a member? How do I become a member?

A: No, you don't have to be a Nepali to be a member of SNEHA. Download and fill out the membership form. You may mail the membership form to SNEHA office or hand it over to one of the executive members with the applicable fees in cash or cheque. Sneha mailing address is:

Q: I wnat to make a donation. Who should I send it to?

A: SNEHA accepts donations for its unrestricted (general funds) and restricted (project-specific) budget. You may mail in your check or money order to SNEHA office. The responsible officer will provide you with a receipt and a thank-you note.
