SNEHA

Society of Nepalese in Hawaii (SNEHA)
a non-profit and a non-political organization based in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Established in 2007 with the shared faith of "SNEHA" which means "affection, tenderness, or love", SNEHA is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes.

Our Mission Statement


The mission of SNEHA shall be to preserve and promote Nepalese culture, foster cooperation among Nepalese and their friends living in Hawaii, and promote educational, social, and other charitable activities to make a positive contribution to the community.

Activities of SNEHA
 
1. Raise funds to promote and support education and humanitarian causes in underprivileged communities in Hawaii and Nepal.

2. Organize social programs featuring Nepalese cultural performances, food, and educational activities for children.

3. Promote charitable activities.

4. Celebrate Nepalese festivals.

Current Activities

Currently, SNEHA is promoting Nepali language, culture and education, in Hawaii and support children's education in Nepal. SNEHA is also working to assist underprivileged rural communities in Nepal and Hawaii. Click for further details.
